In The Evening's Defense

In the evening's defense, I did have a standoff with the hyper-natural. In the front yard there were two male deer standing in the moonlight. They didn't run when I drove up so I carefully and quietly walked up to them. Over the course of about 15 minutes I got within arm's length. They were dark against the grass glowing silver. Undignified previous events were overpowered by this silence.
